Job Summary

We are looking for smart, hard-working, well-spoken and skilled interns/entry-level graduates. Being a startup, we expect to hire self-motivated people who can work independently with minimum supervision, and have a commitment to excellence.

Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. We expect a minimum commitment of 1 year for this position. Only serious entry-level candidates, interested in the field of environment/ sustainability/ life sciences/ ecology/ biotechnology/ clean technology, should apply.

Responsibilities and Duties

A. Sales and Marketing
  • Prepare presentations and pitch products and services to new clients
  • Handle process from introduction, follow-up to cost negotiation and getting the work order
  • Maintaining good relationships with clients through consistent follow-up by phone, email and in-person meetings, as required
  • Bringing in new business and managing existing clients
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of operations team for site visits and client follow-up
  • Meeting with distributors and retailers to get insights and new orders
  • Representing the company at various events and platforms, as and when required
  • Keeping an eye on the competition and suggesting to improve company offerings
 
B. Lead Generation
  • Lead generation via online research of relevant target audiences
  • Research on the relevant environment, sustainability, biotechnology events and information
  • Identify and appoint potential distributors for our products across India
 
C. Marketing & Social Media Promotion
  • Representing the company at demos & promotional events as required
  • Carry out customer surveys to understand demand and manage brand positioning
  • Writing blogs and posts for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and analyzing online campaigns will be an added advantage


Desired Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Total work experience between 1 to 2 years in the field of sales and marketing
  • Candidate should be hardworking & inclined to work in a startup environment
  • Good Hindi and English communication skills
  • Candidate should have good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, Internet
  • Candidate should be active on Social Media and have good writing skills
  • Should have own conveyance and/or willingness to use public transport
  • Open-minded to learn about sustainable businesses in the field of environment
