About the Company

Bana Cleaning is a fast-growing environment services company which provides biodegradable solutions for wastewater, especially to treat oils, fats, grease & odours. We use bio-remediation to remove drain blockages and odours in drains, grease traps and toilets. The treatment is 100% chemical-free.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Critical Functions

  • Oversee all operations and technicians in Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Goa
  • Understand all sites’ drainage layout (inspect drains, grease traps and chambers)
  • Set-up and conduct Site Surveys and take photographs
  • Understand requirement and prepare dosing plan for a client proposal
  • Interact with clients over phone and meetings for technical and product queries
  • Coordinate with clients for any troubleshooting and call-outs
  • Provide administrative & logistical support for product orders
  • Source technical materials required for production


Operations

  • Manage vendor contracts
  • Prepare cost estimates for purchases
  • Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
  • Maintain adequate product inventory
  • Coordinate with the Director on the implementation of new projects
  • Strong understanding of warehouse control systems
  • Adhere to scheduled checks to ensure smooth operations at the clients’ sites


People Management

  • Manage, coach and develop a high performing Maintenance team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements
  • Identify and deploy the technical skill sets, resource levels and systems to deliver projects, including the engagement of external resources as required
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
  • Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports
  • Recommend solutions without compromising quality or service while optimising cost


Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree - B. Tech or similar (experience in Maintenance or Engineering in Food & Beverage industry is preferred and a plus)
  • At least 3 years of work experience
  • Basic knowledge of English and Hindi
  • Friendly and approachable with good communication skills
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments
  • Good at the problem-solving, flexible and fast learner
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and Emails
  • Knowledge of water treatment plants (STPs, ETPs) is a plus
  • Must have their own vehicle (2 wheeler or 4 wheeler)
